What is PrEP?

PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) is a once-daily pill or bi-monthly shot that helps prevent HIV before exposure. It’s one of the most effective tools available – more than 99% when taken as prescribed.

PrEP is a powerful tool to prevent HIV and support your well-being, on your terms. With a 99% rate of effectiveness and no known interference with estrogen and other hormones, PrEP is a safe and wise choice to take control of your sexual health.

Whether you’re having sex with men, women, nonbinary partners, clients, or lovers – PrEP can help protect you. If you’re dating, exploring, or just taking care of yourself – PrEP gives you control without compromise.

PrEP is smart, not shameful.
