HIV Prevention Should Be Easy. At Our Clinic, It Is.
Whether you’re dating, hooking up, partnered, or figuring it out – you deserve the freedom to enjoy your sex life with confidence, not concern. No shame. No stigma. Just peace of mind.
PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) is a once-daily pill or a long-acting injection that protects you from HIV. It’s more than a medication – it’s a tool for freedom, confidence, and control.
At The Arlene Cooper Community Health Center, whether you’re new to PrEP, coming back to it, or just curious, we’ve got you covered. We also offer financial assistance options for those who may experience challenges affording PrEP.
PrEP is smart.
“MSM” stands for “men who have sex with men,” a public health term describing sexual behavior between men, regardless of sexual orientation or identity.
It’s no secret that HIV disproportionately affects men who have sex with men. Choosing PrEP doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong — it means you’re doing something right. It means you’re in control, staying safe, and protecting yourself and your partners.
Men who have sex with men are protected from HIV after just 7 days of starting PrEP – and at 99% effective, PrEP is one of the smartest things you can do for your sexual health.
Worried about what guys will think when they find out you’re on PrEP? Don’t be. You’re not reckless. You’re real. Whether you’re on the apps, hooking up at the club, or cuddled up with your man at home, with PrEP, you’re safe from the “what ifs.”
PrEP – Easy. Safe. Protected.
HIV is preventable with PrEP.

-
PrEP adds an extra layer of HIV protection if condoms aren’t always used.
- If you or your partner(s) have multiple partners, PrEP can protect against potential HIV exposure.
- PrEP can offer critical protection if you’ve had a recent STI or have partners with unknown HIV status.
- PrEP is accessible, affordable, and covered by most insurance plans.
